I am a fully accredited counsellor working in Grand Parade, Cork City Centre. I hold a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. I have been working with clients for several years now and I find this work deeply enriching.
I work from a Humanistic Integrative approach. This means that a variety of techniques and experiences are integrated to best suit the needs of the client. It is a person-centred, existential, approach that believes that personal difficulties are best resolved in the here-and-now and in relation to another person. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space, where thoughts and feelings can be explored safely. My postgraduate qualification has broadened my insight when working with adults and can be helpful when discussing parenting or trauma stemming from childhood or adolescence.
I work with clients who are experiencing a range of life struggles, including but not limited to:
Abuse
Anger Management
Anxiety
Bereavement
Depression
Life Transitions
Relationship Difficulties
Self-Esteem
Self-Harm
Sexuality
Stress
Suicidal Ideation
